I enjoyed Cake Mania, so decided to try this one. This game has a better presentation and improved graphics; the customers and even the cakes you make are more interesting. A great improvement over a game that was already decent.The best improvement is how much money you can make in a level. In the first game, the level gave you a certain amount of time to make goal, but once you made it the level was over. In II, you play the entire amount of time so you can maximize profit to buy the upgrades faster.There are a few customers who have little patience and this makes the game more challenging, but overall it isn't that hard to complete. This is good if you like these types of games but don't want to be too frustrated. On the other hand, it limits the replay value. If a game is too easy the desire to replay it is lower, at least for me. But I have replayed it a couple of times and probably will do so again, so I think it is worth the money. But in all honesty Cake Mania III is even better so if you want to try Cake Mania, I recommend that one instead.
